The Car -

Fully restored to show winning specs our 1959 beetle is powered by a 2332cc engine built by Pat Downs from CB Performance and then rebuilt over the winter by Richie Webb, the engine produces over 240hp and so far Adele has driven it to a best time of 11.26 seconds at 117.9mph over the 1/4 mile.

The roll cage was built by Chris Isaacs Racecars and is in our eyes a work of art! It features a funny car style driver surround and integral, hand made aluminium seats. Wayne Allman from Intergalactic custom shop worked on the floorpan, welding in new pan halves and converting it to IRS.
